Nikolai Shmatko brought the award "Lorenzo il Magnifico" from Florence to Ukraine

Biennale of the year of 2007 was saturated with the spirit of Lorenzo the Magnificent and of the great masters that created in the name of mankind and peace in the world.

The Florence Biennale represented artists and sculptors from 76 countries of the world. More than 800 creators demonstrated the art and culture of the big and small countries.

Representing Ukraine in his person, the King of Marble, Professor was awarded with the high international prize "Lorenzo il Magnifico" for his great achievements in the sphere of sculpturing.

Nikolai Shmatko represented the Ukrainian culture with his marble works, demonstrating the highest European level and brilliant mastership

Shmatko N.G. was amazed by the beauty and splendor of Florence, as well as by the power of genius of the human's possibilities.
